Vakhtang Tsintsadze Signed Memorandum to Deepen Georgia and Turkmenistan Economic and Technological Cooperation

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Vakhtang Tsintsadze, signed a memorandum aimed at deepening economic and technological cooperation between Georgia and Turkmenistan.

Specifically, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed "Between the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan on the Further Development of Cooperation in the Field of Industry."

The document aims to enhance friendly relations in the areas of construction industry, high technologies, research and development (R&D), innovation, and technical regulation. This agreement will facilitate the development of environmentally friendly and resource-saving technologies, the sharing of innovative scientific and technical expertise in the production of new building materials, partnership in the field of standardization, promotion of industrial raw materials transportation, as well as the organization of joint business forums and seminars.

The memorandum was signed within the framework of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, to Georgia.

The document exchange ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
