Irakli Nadareishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, is attending the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS 2026), where Georgia is represented with its own National Pavilion for the first time.

Georgia’s participation in the ongoing fair in Beijing is organized by the LEPL Agency of Investments under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, with the support of the Embassy of Georgia to the People’s Republic of China, the Georgian National Tourism Administration and the National Wine Agency.

At the Georgian Pavilion, the Deputy Minister of Economy hosted Tang Wenhong, Vice Mayor of Beijing, who sampled Georgian wine on display. The Vice Mayor was also briefed on Georgia’s investment and business environment.

CIFTIS is a major international platform for trade in services, bringing together government agencies, international organizations, and business leaders.

The theme of this year’s fair is “Global Services, Shared Prosperity.” The event features 90 countries, regions and international organizations, with over 1800 companies participating on-site.

Visitors to the Georgian National Pavilion can explore information on Georgia’s economy, its investment and business environment, Middle Corridor transport and logistics capabilities, the innovative and technological ecosystem, tourism attractions and 8000-year-old winemaking traditions, as well as the country’s export potential in goods and services.

Georgia’s participation in CIFTIS helps promote the country’s capabilities to Chinese and international audiences and lays a solid foundation for deepening trade, investment and tourism cooperation.
