Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, together with Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, attended the presentation of the Trump Tower Tbilisi project and addressed the audience.

Mariam Kvrivishvili highlighted that Trump Tower Tbilisi will make Georgia’s capital part of the global network that The Trump Organization has been building for decades.

“Trump Tower Tbilisi, which serves as the core and standout element of the large-scale Downtown Tbilisi project, integrates Georgia’s capital into the global network created by The Trump Organization over decades, which is a network that has established itself as one of the most recognizable real estate brands worldwide,” – Mariam Kvrivishvili stated.

The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development expressed her gratitude to the project partners for their trust in Georgia and for making such a large-scale investment decision.

“A large-scale project is launching in Tbilisi that, through its investment size, concept, and the roster of international partners involved, will hold a significant place on Georgia’s economic and investment map. I am confident that this major international project, grounded in Georgian and American capital, will become a new hallmark for Tbilisi and make a vital contribution to further enhancing the country’s investment attractiveness and international profile,” – Mariam Kvrivishvili noted.

In her speech, the Minister emphasized that the importance of the project goes beyond its scale and physical coverage.

“First and foremost, this is a clear testament to Georgia’s growing investment appeal and a vote of confidence in its economy, stability, development dynamics, and long-term prospects. This trust is built upon a stable and predictable economic environment, which the Georgian Government’s consistent economic policy and dedicated efforts have worked to establish over the recent years,” – Mariam Kvrivishvili commented.

The Minister highlighted that the real estate and construction sectors occupy a special place in Georgia’s economy, accounting for over 15% of the country’s economy, with a continuing upward trend.
“Between 2021 and 2025, Georgia’s economy grew by an annual average of 9,3%, while economic growth reached 7,9% in the first half of 2026. Over the same period, the size of Georgia’s economy doubled, reaching a historic peak of 38 billion USD in 2025. Per capita GDP also rose to a record 10300 USD. Since 2021, foreign direct investment into the country has reached nearly 10 billion USD, marking another historic milestone for Georgia,” – the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development noted.

According to Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Trump Tower Tbilisi project represents a new phase of this growth.

“International projects of this magnitude extend beyond the scope of a single investment since they reinforce confidence in Georgia’s economic potential and long-term outlook, sending a clear signal to the international investment community that all necessary conditions exist in Georgia for the successful execution of large-scale projects,” – the Minister said.

Furthermore, as Mariam Kvrivishvili noted, the project will begin creating new jobs immediately, foster the sharing of knowledge and expertise, support the implementation of modern international standards and elevate cooperation between Georgian and international companies to new heights.

The Minister also extended her gratitude to the project partners – The Trump Organization, Archi Group, Invia and Safir Organization, for their confidence in Georgia and for such a significant investment decision.

“For our part, the Government of Georgia will continue to foster an investment climate where international capital, Georgian business, and Georgia’s long-term economic interests align naturally to ensure the country’s development as a regional economic hub,” – Mariam Kvrivishvili stated.

During the event, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization Eric Trump addressed the audience via video link, highlighting Georgia’s economic growth.

The presentation was attended by representatives of Georgia’s executive, legislative and local government bodies, Vice Presidents of The Trump Organization, project partners and members of the business community.
