Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, met with Eugene Gan, Chief Executive Officer of Changi Airports International, one of the world’s leading companies in airport management and investment.

During the meeting, Changi Airports International expressed interest in the new Vaziani International Airport. As noted during the conversation, the company will participate in the international tender to be launched by the Government of Georgia to select the operator for the new Vaziani International Airport.

Special attention was paid to the growth dynamics recorded in Georgia’s tourism and aviation sectors in recent years. It was highlighted that this positive trend drives the company’s interest in the development of Vaziani Airport.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Tamar Ioseliani, CEO of United Airports of Georgia Levan Moseshvili and representatives of Changi Airports International also participated in the meeting.
