Organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, a meeting of the Interagency Road Safety Commission was held.

Commission members reviewed the draft National Road Safety Strategy for 2026-2030 and the Action Plan for 2026-2027. Particular attention was focused on improving road safety standards in school zones.

The Commission reviewed the presented drafts and approved them for consideration at a Cabinet meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Tamar Ioseliani, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development. The meeting was attended by Mzia Giorgobiani, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Levan Zautashvili, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development, along with heads and representatives of other state agencies responsible for road safety.
