Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, introduced the Secretary-General of the UN Tourism Organization, Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais, who is on an official visit to Georgia, to the cultural and historical sights of the Imereti Region.

Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais visited Bagrati Cathedral and the Vani Archaeological Museum, where she was hosted by David Lordkipanidze, Director General of the Georgian National Museum and Academician.

The guest was also briefed on implemented and planned promotional activities regarding the region’s awareness by Maia Omiadze, Head of the National Tourism Administration.
