Exports and Trade Turnover Reached Record Figures in July 2026

Positive dynamics and high economic activity persist in Georgia’s foreign trade relations. According to preliminary data for July 2026, record figures were recorded in the country’s foreign trade in terms of exports and trade turnover, alongside the improved trade balance.

Particularly impressive growth was observed in exports. In July 2026, exports increased by 29,8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, reaching a record monthly figure of 792,4 million USD.

In the period of January-July 2026, exports was increased by 21,6% to reach a record amount of 4668,7 million USD.

As a result of the significant export growth, the trade balance was improved.

In July 2026, trade turnover reached a record high for the month of July at 2495,4 million USD, which is 12,4% higher figure compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. In January-July 2026, the trade turnover was increased by 7,5% and also reached a record amount of 15517,6 million USD.
